Sorry, for contacting you in such a way ...
... but the root of problems with sending comments via e-mail is probably here: new LJ's mail server IP-address doesn't have corresponding record in reverse DNS zone:
$ host 66.150.15.131
Host 131.15.150.66.in-addr.arpa not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

please, check it out.

Re: Sorry, for contacting you in such a way ...
We fixed that yesterday actually. You should only see email coming from 66.150.15.150 now, which resolves properly.

Yep, I saw e-mails coming from another IP-ad. ...
... but it was unclear to me whether it's just a part of a bigger IP-ad. pool (including unresolvable IP-ad.) or completely new single IP-ad. you've switched your outgoing mail server to.

Well, since it's working okay now -- thnx && good luck! ;-)

Re: Yep, I saw e-mails coming from another IP-ad. ...
yeah, the new bigIPs have their own (new) addresses as well as the virtual IPs for the site. We had just told the bigIP to automatically map the outgoing connections with SNAT when we should have instructed it to use one specific virtual IP for the task. lisa figured that one out. :)

It couldn't, but it helps to ...
... learn it. My question was kinda artificial, I deem, you've noticed.

Re:
I once tried to learn Spanish with books. No teacher or anything. While I learned a whole bunch of grammar and words but had no clue how to pronounce it nor how it sounds in general if somebody was speaking.
so yeah uh...

What a coincidence!...
I've also bought a Spanish self-tutorial book once cause I like how Spanish sounds but it still be somewhere on attic of my attention (or in garden of my laziness what is closer to the truth, strictly speaking)... :-) so yeah... ;-)
