Moving on...

Friday October 6th will be my last day at Six Apart. I've accepted an offer with Google to work in their Kirkland office. It was a hard decision and I'm going to sorely miss working with everyone at 6A. I'll be keeping my LJ account of course so you'll still see me around when I bother to post ;)

Whoohoo! Congratulations!

I think you might end up working with a guy I know. I'm not sure if he's in Kirkland or not, though.

Congratulations!

I hope you hate it and want to come back.

I hope you love it and learn a lot there.

Yes, as you can see, I'm conflicted..

Google? sounds great!!

I'm working for media, and we (everybody who is working for mass media ) are focusing on the Google's strategy now.

Congrats on taking the offer. If you find yourself in the bay area for orientation or whatever, we'll have to grab a beer.

You forgot to mention the OTHER corporation you'll be working with.

... but perhaps I've said too much.

Well, congratulations! First Micah's egg, now this. You should buy a lottery ticket.

By the way, that allergy stuff you gave me my last night @ Jessica & Chris' place? It worked quite well...but you were right: I was WIRED and didn't sleep the whole night! That'll teach me. But thank you, 'cos it meant I could breathe.

Excellent!
Very happy for you Matthew!

Most of the folks I know there are, unsurprisingly, in the corporate and production networking groups, although there's one sysadmin I know there who manages machines that manage machines that manage machines that manage machines.

Time to suck on the knowledge pipe...and pass it when you're done :)

Congratulations! From all D's told me, it sounds like an excellent move. I'll miss having the occasional opportunity to hang out with you in SF, though. :)
