I had kinda hoped that the quality of the software in Fedora Core would be akin to that of the prior Red Hat Linux releases. I found out today that that is not the case. Fedora Core 2 (at least for x86_64) shipped in a state that SCSI driver disks do not work. If you try to use them the installer will hang. They even knew about this before FC2 shipped (in test 3) but somehow determined that this bug was ok and that FC2 should ship anyway.

Way to go guys. I really appreciate wasting all this time. Thanks a lot.
